Ceremonial Grade Matcha
Stone Ground Green Tea Powder
Incredibly rich and complex flavor, makes for incredible matcha tea or delicious matcha lattes!
This ceremonial grade matcha is some of the highest quality in the world, we love and use it everyday in our cafes.
Sourced from small farms in Japan, it’s hand-picked, meticulously processed and packaged before being sent to us.
Yields approximately 15 servings.
Only the highest grades of matcha green tea, like this one, are used in the tea ceremony (chanoyu). This is exclusively grown in the misty hills of Uji inside the ancient city of Kyoto, Japan. Its unique climate has produced the finest matcha teas in the world, cherished by Samurai before each battle and revered by Zen Monks for its Zen-like alertness while meditating.
Whole Bean Coffee
[MEX-A-KOH • KEE-SAH-YA]
Process: Washed
Apple Pie, Chocolate, Cashew
Smooth and elegant washed coffee from Mexico, chocolate with a subtle candied citrus finish.
This lot is fully traceable to woman-owned farmers operating as part of Cafe Delas woman producer program.
The name Ki-Saya comes from the combination of two words in the indigenous Mayan language of the area: Ki, meaning “tasty” and Saayab, which means “nature.” Coffee is the most important commercial crop in Chiapas and has a long history in the region, representing a significant source of income for small producers, some 44% of whom are indigenous, mostly Tzotzil and Tzeltal.
Farmers in the areas where Ki-Saya coffee is sourced have improved their processing capabilities over the years, and now take great pride in delivering pristine parchment coffee that is some of the best in all of Mexico. Only the ripest, best cherries are selected; after depulping, the coffee ferments for 12 to 17 hours before being washed and dried on small drying patios next to farmers’ homes.
